Harper has been such a strange little thing lately! She was an angel for 6 months and now I don't recognize her!!
Harper has begun this screaming thing. Sometimes she does it when she's happy just to hear her own voice. Very cute for a couple minutes. Other times, she does it for some serious attention. Not so cute. Not even for a couple minutes. This screaching sound could break glass! It starts out like a whine and turns into something nasty. She must have learned it from her father ;)
She has developed eczema around her eyes that she is constantly scratching day in and out. Since it is so darn close to her eyes, the doctor cannot give us a precription for it. We have to use Vaseline until it goes away. Mind you, she's had the rash for 2 weeks now and it's only spreading...woohoo!
She no longer likes to drink from a bottle. This one I don't like at all. Harper gets plenty of food every day. Lately, she likes solids way more than drinking a bottle and will only take a bottle first thing in the morning or if she decides she's starving sometime after that. It is 2:40pm right now and she hasn't had any bottles since her 6:30am bottle this morning!!!! We keep filling her sippy cup (also known as her newfound LOVE) with Pedialyte just to make sure she doesn't get dehydrated! That would make for an even crankier baby!!!
On another note, we have an ultrasound on Tuesday morning to see Popsicle!

And Then There Were Four

Drew and I found out we will be having another baby in November 2009! We're so excited to be able to have our children be so close in age and share many friends and interests in life. We were expecting our due date to be November 5th but after going in for an ultrasound yesterday morning, we found out that our dates were off and this baby will be born in late November/early December.
We immediately drove over to Carter's to grab a big sister shirt so Harper could be the one to tell the world! Turns out, they don't make big sister shirts for anyone under a 3T (Harper wears 6 month clothing) so, its a bit of a nightgown on her. On the plus side, she'll get to wear it when the baby is born too! And the shirt definitely speaks the truth...big sisters really DO rock!
We go back to the OB on April 21st for a more accurate scan and to find out the real due date of this baby...and how many are there!
